RESOLVED: Network Issue - Friday 6/17 - 3:55PM CDT

RESOLVED: 5:00PM CDT

Power has been restored to our Plano Data Center facility.  We are working to get all systems back online.  Services may be somewhat intermittent as we check all of our network and server systems to ensure that all services are available.  Thank you for your patience.  

 

Update: 4:20PM CDT

The issue has been identified at our Plano, TX data center and is power related.  Emergency data center power specialists have been deployed to work with the City of Plano and Oncor to restore power as quickly as possible.  When city power failed earlier this afternoon for an unknown reason, the UPS and generator systems at the data center facility powered on and took over power operations for several hours while the City of Plano and Oncor worked to restore power to the area.  At approximately 3:55PM CDT, the main power generators failed due to extreme 100F+ heat conditions in the Plano area.  At this time, all systems are down and we are working with power authorities to restore service as quickly as possible.  Oncor has given an estimated time for repair of 6:00PM CDT.  Our Data Center staff is working to repair backup power systems to hopefully restore power sooner than that.  We will update this post with further details as they occur.
